ORLANDO, Fla. – "Although the calendar says spring, the thermometer says summer," News 6's Danny Treanor said.

Under partly cloudy skies, Saturday night's temperatures will drop to 66 degrees in Orlando, 65 degrees in Palm Bay and 56 degrees in Ocala.

Sunday's weather will be similar to Saturday's.

Sunny skies Sunday will produce another round of hot temperatures, ranging from 88 degrees in Orlando to 85 degrees in Melbourne and 83 degrees in Daytona Beach. Rip current danger will be moderate and seas will be 2-3 feet.

Rain chances will increase for four days, beginning Monday with scattered showers possible, through Thursday, when the next cold front is expected to arrive. Temperatures will then drop back down into the 70s by Friday.

"The UV index is high. Make sure you're using sunscreen," Treanor said.

People should refrain from burning as the brush fire danger remains high.
