Great egg-hunting weather to kick off Easter weekend in Central Fla.

Winds causing hazardous water conditions

ORLANDO, Fla. – "We have a gorgeous start to our holiday weekend," News 6 meteorologist Madeline Evans said.

Orlando will reach a high of 83 degrees with sunny skies. The wind will be the only issue Saturday. It will be coming from the east at 10-20 mph, gusting as high as 25 mph by the afternoon. Because of the wind, conditions on the water will be hazardous.

"There is a high rip current risk and a small craft advisory, so not the best day to get on the water," Evans said.

Saturday night will reach a low of 62 degrees under a partly cloudy sky, and the wind will continue.

"For your Easter Sunday, we are looking at a high of 83 once again, breezy and dry," Evans said.
