Hot, dry weather continues Sunday in Central Fla.

Orlando to reach high of 94 degrees

ORLANDO, Fla. – Sunday will be another hot and dry day in Central Florida.

Temperatures in most inland counties will reach the mid-90s and highs on the coast will reach the low 90s. Orlando will reach a high of 94 degrees, with only a 20 percent coverage of rain. Most of Central Florida will stay completely dry, while a few areas could see some quick, spotty showers.

"It is a great day for the beach, or find any body of water to cool off in," News 6 meteorologist Madeline Evans said. "Daytona Beach will reach a high of 90 degrees, with the water temperature sitting at 80."

There is a moderate rip current risk, so be sure to swim by a lifeguard at all times.

Temperatures will reach a low of 76 degrees Sunday night under a partly cloudy sky. There will also be a 10 percent chance of some showers.

"For the week ahead, rain chances come back up to 50 to 60 percent every day and temperatures stay in the low 90s."
