Good boating, beach weather expected Sunday

ORLANDO, Fla. – There will be a low chance of rain again Sunday in Central Florida, which means the temperature will feel hotter for longer. It also means Central Florida will see generally good boating and beach conditions.

It will be warm and muggy overnight Saturday, with temperatures dropping to 75 degrees in Orlando and Melbourne, and 74 degrees in Ocala.

"Sunday will see mostly sunny skies, with highs ranging from 94 degrees in Palm Bay and Orlando to 91 degrees in Daytona Beach," News 6 weather anchor Danny Treanor said. "No rain is expected for the beach areas, but there is a 20 percent chance of rain in the interior counties."

The weather will trend back to rainy by Monday, with a 50 percent chance in the forecast and a 60 percent chance for the remainder of the week.

There is no new tropical action expected in the tropics for the next five days.
