Halloween forecast in Central Florida is a treat

Orlando to see high of 76

ORLANDO, Fla. – The Halloween forecast in Central Florida will not be spooky.

"More dry air behind a front will lead to clear skies for the most part on Tuesday," News 6 meteorologist Troy Bridges said.

Expect a high of 76 degrees in Orlando. Monday's high was 67. The average high on this date is 82.

Early Tuesday, temperatures ranged from 39 in Ocala to 54 in Cape Canaveral.

Highs will be in the low 80s from Wednesday through Friday, and there's no rain in the forecast through Friday. Overnight lows will be near 60.

"We had no rain on Monday," Bridges said. "That puts our surplus at 0.19 inches since January 1.

Rain chances increase to 20 percent on Saturday and Sunday. Highs will be in the low 80s.

"Don’t forget to set your clock back one hour before going to bed Saturday night," Bridges said.

Tracking the tropics

There's an area of low pressure in the open Atlantic that will not reach land.

The system has a 20 percent chance of development within the next five days.
