Sunshine to warm temps into mid-80s in Central Florida

Rain chances remain low in Orlando area

ORLANDO, Fla. – Central Florida will see a nice, sunny Friday.

The high in Orlando is expected to reach 85 degrees. The average high on this date is 81.

High temperatures along the coast will be in the low 80s.

Overnight lows will be in the mid-60s.

Weekend highs will be in the mid-80s.

Rain chances remain low over the next several days.

"With no rain over the past couple days, Orlando's yearly rain deficit is 0.03 inches," News 6 meteorologist Troy Bridges said.

Tracking the tropics

There are currently no areas of low pressure or concerns to watch in the tropics.

Hurricane season runs through the end of November.
