Central Florida to feel above-average temps this weekend

Few showers possible along coast

ORLANDO, Fla. – Central Florida will be a bit hotter this weekend than average for this time of year, with little rain expected.

There will be plenty of sunshine between a few clouds Saturday.

Temperatures in Central Florida are typically around 81 degrees this time of year.

"Temperatures Saturday and Sunday will be near 85 degrees, so slightly above the norm, but nothing record breaking," News 6 meteorologist Samara Cokinos said.

A few more showers are possible Sunday, mainly near the coast, but a few could move farther inland.

Fog will settle in late Saturday night and into Sunday morning for interior portions of Central Florida. Lows will stay in the mid-60s.

"Don't forget! The time changes at 2 a.m. tomorrow, so set the clocks back an hour before you go to sleep tonight," Cokinos said. "Enjoy the extra hour of relaxation!"
