More calm weekend weather expected in Central Florida

Set clocks back before bed Saturday night

ORLANDO, Fla. – Weather is rather calm Saturday in Central Florida and is expected to stay that way through the evening.

"It's a little hotter than normal and there might be an occasional shower off the Atlantic Ocean, but otherwise a quiet weather pattern," News 6 weather anchor Danny Treanor said.

Skies will be partly cloudy Saturday night, with lows expected to range from 59 degrees in Ocala to 64 degrees in Orlando and 66 degrees in Palm Bay. 

There is a 20 percent chance of rain for Brevard County. The interior portions of Central Florida can expect a touch of patchy fog.

"Sunday is more of the same., but we raise the chance of rain up a bit to 30 percent along the Atlantic coast," Treanor said. "Temperatures will range from 85 degrees in Melbourne to 84 degrees in Daytona Beach and Orlando."

More warm and quiet weather is expected for the upcoming week.

The next chance for some cool air in Central Florida will be Friday, when temperatures drop back down into the 70s.

Remember to set your clocks back an hour for the time change Saturday night before going to sleep.
