Spotty showers possible Sunday in Central Florida

Cloudy skies to linger into Sunday night

ORLANDO, Fla. – Sunday was off to a foggy start in parts of Central Florida, mostly in the interior counties.

Once the fog clears, there will be a mix of clouds and sunshine with highs in the mid-80s.

"A few showers will pop up near the coast in the middle of the morning and spread inland," News 6 meteorologist Samara Cokinos said.

Rain coverage remains low near 20 percent and there will be light rainfall. 

Cloudy skies will linger overnight Sunday with lows in the mid-60s.

Areas of fog will settle in over interior portions of Central Florida Sunday night and into tomorrow morning.

"The fog could limit your ability to see to under a mile at times, so be sure to take your time driving through that to work or to the bus stop," Cokinos said.

Expect high temperatures in the mid-80s and little rain for the first half of the week.
