Sunshine expected to break through morning fog in Central Florida

Temps to be in mid-70s Saturday afternoon

ORLANDO, Fla. – Central Florida is off to a foggy start Saturday morning.

Dense fog over interior portions of Central Florida will last through midmorning, making driving conditions a bit more dangerous.

"Expect visibilities under a half mile in many areas," News 6 meteorologist Samara Cokinos said. "The closer to the coast you are, the less fog you will see."


Once the fog passes, conditions in Central Florida will improve.

Residents can expect to see plenty of sunshine and a few clouds later in the day, with temperatures nearing the mid-70s.

A few clouds will linger into Saturday evening, with lows falling to the mid-50s.
