ORLANDO, Fla. – The long-awaited cold front has finally entered Florida.
Light, scattered showers will spread into the Gainesville area Wednesday night.
For most of Central Florida, the mild weather will continue into the early evening.
The temperatures drop into the 60s, with an overnight low of 61. That will be cool enough for patchy fog to settle in.
For Thursday, expect that fog to be around early, but the day will be mostly cloudy as a cold front slowly moves into Central Florida from the northwest, with a 30 percent chance of rain.
The high Thursday will be 74.
Friday brings in more showers, with a rain chance of 60 percent. The high will be 68.
Saturday, the rain chances drop, and so do the temperatures. The daytime high on Saturday will be 60.
Sunday looks chilly and sunny, with a high of 62.
Monday will be sunny, with a high of 65.
