Thunderstorms to disappear overnight, only to reappear again Monday

Sunday sees some storms

ORLANDO, Fla. – Heat and humidity combined to create some gusty winds and downpours late Sunday afternoon, and thunderstorms made their way across parts of Florida just as is typical in the summer.

These will disappear overnight, only to reappear again Monday.

Overnight skies will become partly cloudy, allowing temperatures to drop to 69 degrees in Ocala to 73 degrees in Orlando.

Morning sunshine will let temperatures rise to 91, which is normal for this time of year.

Rain chances stand at 30 percent on Monday but jump back up to 40 percent for Tuesday and Wednesday.

This is basically the weather pattern for the next four to five months.

Meanwhile, the tropics are currently quiet.
