Hot temperatures, chance of rain in Father's Day forecast
Highs in the low 90s with chance of rain
ORLANDO, Fla. – Summer begins in five days but it feels like the season arrived a couple of weeks ago.
Heavy showers and thunderstorms moved through Seminole, Orange and Volusia bringing lots of rain and some wind gusts up to 47 mph.
Rains will be ending during the night allowing the temperatures to drop to the low to mid 70s. The warmest temperatures will be along the Atlantic coast.
Sunday's temperatures will top out at 91-93 for Sunday. Rain chances drop to 50 percent around Orlando and the beaches and 40 percent around Ocala.
Monday and Tuesday rain chances drop to 20 percent in some areas. But that means hot temperatures will continue past sundown.
The remainder of the week will see rain chances slowly going up.
