Countdown to end of hurricane season begins

ORLANDO, Fla. – Temperatures on Saturday topped out at 76 degrees for Orlando, but they will be 5 degrees warmer Sunday.

Clear skies Saturday night will allow temperatures to drop to 51 degrees in Ocala, 58 degrees in Palm Bay and 59 degrees in Orlando.

Winds will be changing to a more easterly direction Sunday afternoon, allowing for moisture and temperatures to rise. Highs Sunday will range from 77 degrees in Daytona Beach to 81 degrees in Orlando and Melbourne.

Rain-free days will continue until Thursday and Friday. There is a 20 percent chance of rain Thursday and a 30 percent chance Friday.

The tropical season ends in 13 days. There is no action in the tropics currently.
