Chill in the air, but dry and mild days ahead in Central Florida

Dry period for upcoming week with temperatures gradually warming up

ORLANDO, Fla. – There is a chill in the air Saturday night as temperatures drop rapidly due to clear skies.

Eventually, temperatures will range from 43 degrees in Ocala to 47 in Palm Bay and 49 degrees in Orlando. Expect light winds out of the west-northwest.

Sunshine is expected Sunday, and temperatures will be around the 70-degree mark.

"Great outdoors weather with a light jacket," News 6 meteorologist Danny Treanor said. "Even though it's cool, remember sunscreen."

A prolonged dry period is expected for the upcoming week with temperatures gradually warming up, but another little hit of cool air arrives Thursday.
