Near record high heat in Central Florida this weekend

Temps will try to reach 90 degrees in some locations

ORLANDO, Fla. – It's feeling hot and humid, and it's a preview of the summer that is coming.

So much like summer, we kicked in the afternoon and evening thunderstorms that brought hail, high winds and short-term flooding.

Showers will be ending overnight, and then skies will become partly cloudy as temperatures remain mild and muggy.

Lows Saturday night will range from 66 degrees in Ocala to 68 degrees in Palm Bay and 69 degrees in Orlando. The chance for rain is 30% in the interior and 10% along the coast.

After some morning fog around Ocala, Sunday looks a lot like Saturday, with a little decrease in the chance for rain. Temps will try to reach 90 degrees in some locations, and the chance for rain is 20% to the north around Marion County.

Monday and Tuesday look wet. Rain chances are 50%-60% and could include some thunderstorms.

On Wednesday, the sun returns, but rain is in the weekend forecast.
