ORLANDO, Fla. – For the rest of Saturday night, there will be a few showers, but most areas across central Florida will remain dry.
Lows will fall to the mid- to low 70s under partly cloudy skies.
To start the day Sunday, most areas will be partly to mostly sunny and mainly dry.
By noon, the clouds will build more, and there will be showers popping up here and there.
The second half of the day will have storms mainly over southern zones.
Areas like Brevard County will have some storms that could have heavy rain in them, while up the coast, there will only be a few pockets of rain at times.
Rain chances are 40% and will be mainly after 1 or 2 p.m.
Boaters should keep an eye on the sky for the storms to roll in from the southwest toward the northeast. Until then, no issues are expected on the water or the beaches.
Highs will rebound to the upper 80s along the coast and the low 90s everywhere else. It will feel a bit hotter with the humidity remaining high.
Next week will be much of the same with rain chances between 40% and 50% each afternoon. A little less rain can be expected by next weekend and will be mainly in the afternoon along the sea breeze.
