Tropical update:

Tropical Storm Melissa continues to move away from the eastern seaboard. The National Hurricane Center expects this storm to continue to weaken.

Meanwhile, in the southwestern Caribbean, there is an area of low pressure that is expected to move west toward Central America by early next week.

It has a 20% of development as it moves near the coast of Honduras, Guatemala, and Belize, but will be a rain maker.

It won't be a threat to us.

We're also watching a tropical wave that's expected to move off the west coast of Africa tomorrow. This system has a 40% chance of development over the next five days. Keep in mind this is still far away and the National Hurricane Center states that formation in this area is unlikely based on climate data, it's still something to watch later in the week.
