ORLANDO, Fla. – Central Florida will see a nice, warm day Thursday, but more changes are ahead.
“After starting in the 50s, 60s and 70s across Central Florida, temperatures will warm all the way to 80 degrees, with a 30% chance of rain,” News 6 meteorologist Troy Bridges said.
The average high in Orlando for this time of year is 79. The record high is 88, set in 2018.
Rain chances jump to 70% late Thursday into early Friday.
Expect a high of 76 Friday. The overnight low will be near 60.
Highs over the weekend will be in the upper 60s, with lows in the 40s and 50s. Rain chances are slim on Saturday and Sunday.
Hurricane season runs through November, but there is nothing brewing in the tropics.
