ORLANDO, Fla. – Thursday started with some relatively chilly air across Central Florida, but highs will soar into the mid-70s by the afternoon.

We will see a high in Orlando of 75. The average high on this date is 71. The record high is 91, set in 2020.

Temperatures will be cooler heading into the end of the week as a new front approaches the region Thursday night. The front will bring a few showers into early Friday.

Expect a 40% chance of rain Thursday night and a 20% coverage for the first part of Friday.

Friday’s highs will be in the mid-60s. Expect temperatures to barely get out of the 50s by Saturday.

The weekend will be dry but cooler.
