Central Florida rain should clear overnight

Fire danger remains high

Some got a dash and others got soaked. Rain has finally returned to the forecast and unofficially offers a preview of rainy season.

Some showers will linger from Central Florida to the west side of the state.  All rain should be gone by midnight.

Lows Friday night will drop into the 70s but will rebound back into the 90s on Saturday.

Rain chances are 30 percent for Saturday, 40 percent for Sunday and 50 percent for Monday. The week ahead also has many more chances for rain.

Fire danger remains high until the region gets a major soaking.

Enjoy the weekend between the showers.
