Orlando area to see couple of nice days before more storms arrive

Thunderstorms expected Thursday across Central Florida

ORLANDO, Fla. - Central Floridians woke up Monday morning to cool temperatures and patchy fog.

Morning temperatures were in the 40s and 50s across the region.

Orlando will see a high of 66 degrees, with no chance of rain. The average high on this date is 73 degrees.

"Expect plenty of cool sunshine, with light winds out of the northeast," News 6 meteorologist Candace Campos said.

Overnight lows will be in the upper 40s.

It will be mostly sunny Tuesday, with a high of 71 and a low of 48.

Wednesday's high will be 74, with a 10 percent chance of rain.

Thursday will see a high of 75.

"A front approaches Thursday, however, with rain chances jumping to 80-90 percent," Campos said. "Behind the front will be another dip in temperatures."

Friday's high will be 67. The overnight low will be 56.
