Rain showers expected Thanksgiving Day

High is 77 degrees with rain

ORLANDO, Fla. – After a great afternoon Wednesday in Central Florida, we are heading for big changes on Thanksgiving.

Tonight the low will drop to 64. For Thanksgiving, we will be tracking showers most of the day.

The rain will start on the Gulf coast and overrun our area by midday.

Some of the showers will be heavy.

There is not a set up for severe weather, but some of the showers will be heavy, and there will be some lightning.
The high will be 77 with the rain. Friday brings in early rain.

Most of the showers on Friday will be from Orlando to the north.

As the afternoon wears on, the rain slows. The USF at UCF game may have a few raindrops to start but should finish dry.

The daytime high Friday will be 76. Sunday through Thursday, the temps will be in the low 70s with lots of sunshine.
