ORLANDO, Fla. – Temperatures will soar into the mid-90s Tuesday in Central Florida, but rainy weather is on the way.
"We still have some drier air in the mid- and upper levels of the atmosphere," News 6 meteorologist Troy Bridges said. "This will lead to fairly low rain chances at 20 percent."
Rain chances increase to 40 percent on Wednesday and 60 percent for the rest of the week through Saturday as an area of low pressure moves into the Bahamas.
"This area of low pressure has a brief window to develop into possibly a tropical depression by the weekend," Bridges said. "Either way, it will bring increased rain chances for the beginning of the weekend in Central Florida."
The National Hurricane Center said the low has a 30 percent chance of development within the next five days.
Meanwhile, what was once Harvey now has a 90 percent chance of development within the next five days as it moves into the Gulf of Mexico.

Harvey will likely move to either Texas or Mexico in the coming days. It will not impact Florida.
