BOCA RATON, Fla. – Governor Rick Scott signed a bill Monday at Florida Atlantic University that creates greater transparency and more accountability of Florida's higher education system.

The measure (HB 79019) provides greater transparency to students about college costs, helps keep graduate school tuition costs from drastically changing, informs students about the textbooks they'll need before classes start and requires colleges and universities to try to make textbooks more affordable.
