Couples who don't kids tend to be happier than those who do, according to a new survey conducted by Open University titled "Enduring Love? Couple relationships in the 21st Century."
The survey, which was posted on The Open University, found that gay couples without children had even happier relationships than that of heterosexual couples without children; however, the same survey found that heterosexual couples with kids, and especially mothers, are happiest "with life," according to Orlando Sentinel.

"Non-heterosexual participants are more positive about and happier with the quality of their relationship...than heterosexual participants," according to the survey, which later added: "Heterosexual parents are the least likely to be there for each other, to make 'couple time,' to say 'I love you' to each other, to talk about everything and to pursue shared interests."
Open University posted the results of its 4,500 person survey online this week, along with a 96-page report that explores personal feelings about relationships, sex, religion and children, and it aims to answer such questions as, what makes people feel happy and fulfilled in love and life, the Orlando Sentinel says.
