TAMPA, Fla. – New numbers show the price of gas in the Sunshine State continues to plunge.
According to AAA, the state average price of a gallon of gas has dropped for the 23rd day in a row, for a total of 14 cents per gallon in savings.
Last week alone, the price dropped 5 cents per gallon to about $2.23 a gallon in Florida.
The price is even lower in Daytona Beach, where the average price about $2.30 per gallon. In Orlando, a gallon of gas is $2.26, the lowest average in the entire state.
