2 arrested in double-shooting outside Waffle House in Cocoa

Shooting began with altercation at Club Vibez, deputies say

COCOA, Fla. – Two men were arrested in a double-shooting that occurred last week outside a Waffle House in Cocoa.

Corneil Jeremy Sessions, 25, and Jamir Wellington Anderson, 22, were arrested in connection with the shootings, which occurred October 11 outside the Waffle House at 44685 King Street.

Sessions, who was located in Rockledge, was placed under arrest on charges of shooting in public from a vehicle and aggravated battery with a deadly weapon. He is currently held at the Brevard County Jail under a no bond status.

Anderson was arrested in Cocoa on charges of shooting into an occupied vehicle and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. Anderson is currently held at the Brevard County Jail Complex under a no bond status.

Brevard County sheriff's deputies said an altercation began at Club Vibez and up to 40 people were present when a man and woman were shot. 

The woman was taken to a hospital in critical condition.  Her current condition is not known.  The man was treated and released.
