ORLANDO, Fla. – A man and a woman were shot and killed Tuesday afternoon at an Orlando apartment complex, according to the Orange County Sheriff's Office.
Ron Williams, 32, and Amanda Johnson, 27, died in the shooting, which occurred around 1 p.m. at the Misty Oaks Apartments in Orlando. Another woman was also shot and wounded, deputies said.
Orange County sheriff's deputies said they received a call at 1:15 p.m. from a woman saying she had been shot. When deputies arrived at the apartment complex, the woman led them to an apartment, where they found Williams and Johnson dead, according to deputies.
The woman who reported the shooting was taken to Orlando Regional Medical Center.
Deputies said they believe the three people involved in the shooting knew each other, but the parameters of their relationship is not clear.
The incident is being investigated as a double homicide and deputies say they believe something suspicious occurred between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m.
Deputies are asking for anyone who saw something suspicious near the apartment on Hiawassee Road to contact the Sheriff's Office.
Video from Local 6 News helicopter Sky 6 showed multiple police cruisers at the scene, with officers going door to door.
