2 spring breakers arrested for stealing beach patrol personal watercraft No description found
DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Two spring breakers were arrested Friday for stealing a beach patrol personal watercraft that was beached in Daytona Beach.
Officials said the personal watercraft had a mechanical issue around 5 p.m. and was beached. Two spring breakers jumped on the personal watercraft and rode it south near the Main Street pier.
Officers followed the spring breakers on land. The spring breakers beached the personal watercraft and tried to run away, but were caught by officials.
The spring breakers will be charged with grand theft of a vessel, according to authorities.
