DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Police are searching for the person responsible in a fatal hit-and-run crash Sunday in the 100 block of Fairview.
The victim, Roger Martin, was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash, which happened at 3:12 a.m.
According to the Daytona Beach Police Department, traffic homicide investigators discovered that Martin's death may have been the result of an intentional act.
Detectives have located and interviewed witnesses as well as acquired video of the crash.
Police have authorized a $20,000 reward for anyone with information in Martin's death that leads to an arrest.
Detectives said they believe the responsible vehicle to be a dark-colored van or SUV.
