ORLANDO, Fla. – Deputies said a man was discovered in an apartment complex parking lot Saturday night, dead from a gunshot wound.
The Orange County Sheriff's Department said they received a 911 call at 11p.m. Saturday of shots fired and aggravated battery via firearm.

When the deputies arrived at the Silver Hills apartment complex, 2620 Silver Hills Drive in Orlando they discovered Latony Jones, 33, lying in the parking lot with apparent gunshot wounds, authorities said.
One witness reported hearing the gunshots and saw a black male get into the driver's seat of a silver vehicle and flee the area.
The Orange County Fire/Rescue Department said they responded and pronounced Jones deceased at 11:12 p.m. Saturday.
The case remains under investigation. The person responsible is still at large.
