4 shot in Orlando neighborhood; 2 women struck by vehicle

Victims suffer non-life-threatening injuries, deputies say

ORLANDO, Fla. – Four people were shot early Sunday in an Orlando neighborhood, deputies said.

The shooting was reported about 2 a.m. on the Conley Street near Ivy lane.

The Orange County Sheriff's Office said deputies were called to the area after a large crowd formed and multiple shots were fired.

Four gunshot victims were "self-transported" to hospitals after suffering non-life-threatening injuries, deputies said.

The victims were only described by deputies as three black men, ages 20, 26 and 28, and a 21-year-old black woman. Two went to Dr. Phillips Hospital and the others went to Orlando Regional Medical Center, deputies said.

No other details, including any information about who opened fire, have been released.

The Florida Highway Patrol is also investigating a separate incident that happened around the same time as the shooting. Troopers told News 6 that in this incident, after someone opened fire, people started scattering. Two women told authorities they were hit by a vehicle. FHP said one woman has serious injuries and the other suffered minor injuries.

Both women were transported to ORMC.

Authorities said there are no witnesses and no suspect vehicle information.

Orange County sheriff's detectives are investigating the shooting.
