Bicyclist struck by car in Sanford Victim taken to hospital for surgery, officials say No description found
SANFORD, Fla. – Officials are investigating after a bicyclist was struck by a vehicle Tuesday evening.
According to city officials, the man on the bike was attempting to cross U.S. 17-92 near 24th Street when he was struck by a blue BMW. The person driving the car stayed at the scene.
The victim was taken to a nearby hospital, where he was reported to be having surgery.
Investigators continue gathering information about the crash.
