Brevard jury finds man accused of burying woman alive guilty of murder Vahtiece Kirkman could be sentenced to death No description found
VIERA, Fla. – A Brevard County jury on Friday found a man accused of burying a woman alive guilty of murder.
Vahtiece Kirkman was found guilty in connection with the 2006 disappearance and death of 22-year-old Darice Knowles, a Bahamian national who was visiting friends in Cocoa.
Kirkman will be sentenced at 9 a.m. Monday, News 6 partner Florida Today reported.
Prosecutors will seek the death penalty.
