TITUSVILLE, Fla. – The Titusville Police Department is investigating a crash that killed a 77-year-old man on Wednesday morning.
News 6 partner Florida Today said the man, identified as Stephen C Paulding, 77, of Titusville, was driving a 1990 Lincoln Town Car, was trying to make a left turn out of a Mobil gas station at 460 Cheney Highway near Sisson Road when he was struck by a 2010 Dodge Charger that was heading west on the road.

The impact from the crash sent the Town Car into a utility pole. The man was extricated and taken to a local hospital where he died around 9 a.m.
The driver of the Charger, 28-year-old Caitelyn Clyrissa Bell, of Cocoa, was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
