Orange County Fire Rescue investigates vehicle fire on Turnpike

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. – Orange County Fire Rescue says workers saved camels and chickens from a burning circus trailer on Florida's Turnpike Tuesday morning.

OCFR said it received a report of a vehicle fire at 9:30 a.m. at on the Turnpike and the westbound Interstate 4 off-ramp.

When fire crews arrived, they found the vehicle on fire was a traveling circus trailer, which was carrying two camels, along with chickens.

The chickens and camels were all safely removed from the trailer and the fire was quickly put out, Fire Rescue officials say.

No injuries were reported.
