City of Orlando to take final vote on marijuana moratorium

ORLANDO, Fla. – City leaders in Orlando will take a final vote on Monday to stop any marijuana dispensaries from opening up -- for now.

Commissioners want a moratorium on the shops through at least the end of the year, so they can figure out the best places in the city to allow the shops to open.

Meanwhile, on Tuesday, the first dispensary to get approval from the state will open its doors in Tallahassee. The company, Trulieve, makes a low potency version of the drug, called "Charlotte's Web."

Workers say they made their first home delivery over the weekend.
