VIERA, Fla. – Brevard County deputies arrested a man who was wanted on aggravated stalking charges after deputies say he beat up his ex-girlfriend at a Viera McDonalds on Friday.
Terrence Lakeman, 43, followed the victim into the restaurant bathroom at 9:45 a.m. after a scheduled court hearing was canceled, deputies said. He then violently beat the victim and left her critically injured on the bathroom floor.

The victim was flown to a trauma center where she has since been upgraded to a stable condition.
Lakeman was arrested by authorities in Palm Bay. He had two outstanding stalking warrants. He will be held at the Brevard County Jail on no bond.
