DELTONA, Fla. – Deltona fire chief Bill Snyder has ordered the repeal of the outdoor burn ban, but the county isn't the only in the state to do so.

Out of the entire state of Florida, only two burn bans remain according to the Florida Department of Agriculture; Highlands and Charlotte.

Signed back on April 20, Snyder first ordered the burn ban for Deltona after Florida weather combined with a lack of rain to create a dangerous environment.

However, due to an increasing amount of rainfall in the past couple of weeks, Snyder decided to repeal his earlier order.

Despite most burn bans being repealed, four counties still have permanent bans including Orange, Duval, Pinellas and Sarasota counties.
