Deputies: 15-year-old shot in arm at Orlando apartment complex

ORLANDO, Fla. – Orange County deputies have one person in custody who they say shot a 15-year-old in the arm Monday afternoon.

Deputies said the shooting occurred at the Beacon Hill Apartments at around 2 p.m. The complex was blocked off while deputies searched for the shooter.

Deputies said the possible shooter was across the street from the apartment in a car. He was placed in custody and is being questioned.

The victim's injuries aren't life-threatening and the victim was taken to the hospital for treatment, deputies said.

The victim's identity hasn't been released as the investigation continues.
