WINTER PARK, Fla. – Deputies released the identity of a man Wednesday who was found shot in the parking lot of a Winter Park apartment complex last month.
Dontez Lamar Patton, 25, was found May 25 at Sun Bay Apartments on Aloma Avenue suffering from a gunshot wound, the Orange County Sheriff's Office said.
Patton was taken to Winter Park Hospital, where he died.
Homicide detectives are continuing to investigate the case. Anyone with information about the homicide can call Crimeline at 1-800-423-TIPS (8477) to give anonymous tips.
