Disney rolls new floats into park for upcoming parade

Festival of Fantasy Parade begins in March

LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. – Dragons, bagpipes, and pirate ships have begun rolling down the road to Disney's Magic Kingdom Park.

Float preparations are underway for the park's March debut of its newest daytime parade.

The Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade will include a 53-foot-long Maleficent Dragon from the 1959 class "Sleeping Beauty". Other floats include a giant bagpipe inspired from "Brave".

Disney says the upcoming event will bring the characters of Fantasyland to life at Magic Kingdom through bright costumes and original soundtracks.

A new parade theme song also debuts.
