Orlando's local blood center, OneBlood, mourned the loss of one of its own team members in the mass shooting. Rodolfo Ayala Ayala was described as a highly respected member of the OneBlood family,  "passionate about saving lives and took great pride in the lifesaving work he performed."

"He was a caring and friendly person and will be greatly missed by everyone who had the honor of knowing him," OneBlood said in a release to News 6 on Tuesday.

Seminole State College said Monday in a release that it is mourning the loss of  Luis S. Vielma, who was an Emergency Medical Services student at the college.

Cory Connell, an Edgewater High School graduate, worked at the College Park Publix, where a growing memorial now stands. A GoFundMe was created for his family's funeral and travel expenses.

"It is evident by the outpouring of love on Facebook that Cory's smile and kind heart touched many," Connell's GoFundMe page read.

Friends said popular Central Florida singer Shane Tomlinson and his band had wrapped up their set at one club and headed to Pulse nightclub. His friends waited at the Beard center Monday morning in hopes of hearing which hospital Tomlinson was in. Tomlinson's name was added to the list of victims late Monday morning.

"He lived a way too short life, but it was a huge life," Tomlinson's friend, Rahmlee Birch, told News 6 Monday. "He went out like the superstar that he deserves to be."

Survivors described the gunfire to News 6 on Sunday, and loved ones remembered those who died in the shooting.
