Epcot employee charged with child porn

Disney puts man on unpaid leave pending FDLE investigation

ORLANDO, Fla. – Florida Department of Law Enforcement agents have arrested an Epcot employee on child porn charges, according to officials.

Ruben Ferrer, 28, has been charged with 10 counts of possession of child pornography and four counts of distribution of child pornography, according to FDLE officials.

Agents found several videos and images of child pornography on Ferrer's computer at his home on Meadowvale Drive.

Ferrer has been booked into the Orange County Jail on a no-bond status.

Disney officials tell Local 6 Ferrer has been placed on unpaid leave pending the outcome of the charges. He previously had worked in watercraft operations at Epcot.
