Officer Fielder investigated and found that the woman's air filter was completely clogged.

When she was informed of the problem, she told Officer Fielder that changing the air filter was her late husband's job. He had passed away five or six years ago and it seemed as though the air filter had not been changed since he died.

Officer Fielder took it upon himself to drive to Walmart at midnight to purchase a new air filter and returned to her home to replace it.

The woman was thrilled that Officer Fielder went out of his way to help and could not stop thanking the officer for what he had done.

The Eustis Police Department shared her story and a picture of the woman with Officer Fielder on its Facebook page
