Family of missing mom, kids makes public plea to suspect

Family of Yessenia Suarez will speak out to Suarez' estranged husband, Luis Toledo

VOLUSIA COUNTY, Fla. – The family of the missing Deltona mother and her two children made a public plea for information on their locations on Tuesday evening to the suspect in her disappearance.

Yessenia Suarez and her two children, 9-year-old Thalia Otto and 8-year-old Michael Otto, haven't been seen since Oct. 23 and are all presumed dead. Suarez' husband, Luis Toldeo, faces a second-degree murder charge after he confessed to killing her. He has told deputies he didn't kill the children.

"By letting us know where we can find Yessie, Thalia and Michael, we are not the ones to judge you and you knew the love we shared as a family," said Suarez's mother. "And while we know that, we as a family, are asking to grant us that one wish, to where we can find our family."

Suarez' mother showed a new picture of the Suarez family from the holidays.

"You know the word of the Lord, and maybe you can make a difference in someone's life," she said. "You accept Jesus in your life, we don't hate you, we are just simply reaching out to you."

The search group Texas Equusearch joined the search with Volusia County deputies and family members over the weekend.
