MIAMI BEACH – A South Florida fisherman has quite the fish tale to tell.
Captain Mark Quartiano, better known as Mark the Shark, never disappoints when it comes to landing some very odd creatures.

He posted a picture of his latest catch on his Instagram account over the weekend. He said the creature is a huge Dactylobatus clarkii.
Quartiano told WPLG-TV in Miami that he caught the monster off Miami Beach while shooting a series of shows for a Japanese television network.
The beast was captured, tagged and released back into the ocean.
A web search found that the massive creatures troll the bottom of the ocean, sometimes at depths of 1,000 feet.
