National technology issue with JPMorgan Chase causes shutdown

ORLANDO, Fla. – Florida Electronic Benefit Transfer cards are back up after a national technology issue at JPMorgan Chase shut down the system, according to the Florida Department of Children and Families.

For hours on Friday, EBT cardholders were unable to use their cards for normal processing at grocery, convenience and other stores that accept EBT cards. EBT cards are used by those who are on food assistance.
