DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – The judge dismissed an injunction filed by sister of Ebony Wilkerson, who is accused of driving a van with her kids into the ocean in Daytona Beach.
The injunction was to keep Wilkerson's husband, Lutful Ronjon, away from Wilkerson's sister, Jessica Harrell, and her children.
Lawyers from both sides came to a settlement and agreed to dismiss case because of lack of evidence.
Ronjon was present in court but would not speak with the media. Harrell was not present but her lawyer said she was in the building.
Harrell claims Ronjon attacked Wilkerson and would be a danger to the children. She agreed to drop the injunction at a hearing on Thursday morning but a judge cautioned Ronjon to make no contact with Harrell.
The judge also urged lawyers to have their clients stay away from each other because of high tension in case.
Wilkerson, 32, is being held on $1.2 million bail. She is charged with three counts of attempted murder and three counts of child abuse.
According to Volusia County Sheriff's deputies, one of the children said that Wilkerson, who is 28 weeks pregnant, locked the doors of the minivan on March 4, rolled up the windows and drove into the ocean, saying she was doing it to "keep all of us safe."
Her children -- ages 3, 9 and 10 -- were not seriously injured in the incident and were rescued by beach officials and onlookers. The children were placed in the custody of the Florida Department of Children and Families.
Wilkerson told investigators she was trying to get away from her abusive husband.
